raised for cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center by Comedy vs Cancer
Built by the team behind Comedy vs Cancer.
Comedian Nick Kroll and lymphoma survivors Niccole Kroll and Jen Rogers started Comedy vs Cancer to raise money for research at Memorial Sloan Kettering. College vs Cancer brings the same model of big talent and real impact to campuses. Jacoby Kroll, then a USC student, joined as a co-founder.
Our mission: creating change for AYA cancer.
A "lost generation." Researchers themselves describe adolescents and young adults as a "lost generation" in oncology.
Not tracked as its own priority. The National Cancer Institute's public budget lists dollar figures for dozens of specific cancers by name. AYA cancer is not one of them.
Advances or breakthroughs have stalled. Survival rates for this age group have barely moved in roughly 30 years, while survival for children and for older adults has climbed substantially. In medicine, three decades of stalled outcomes despite broader scientific progress usually points to underinvestment, not bad luck.
100% of funds raised supports adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer research, including at Memorial Sloan Kettering and the cancer research institutes affiliated with each of our partner universities.
